Guinea Pig Cages - Characteristics of C&C Cages

November 16th, 2009 · No Comments

What is a C&C Cage?

First of all, I mention the phrase C&C cage in the title of this article. This is cage-building technology that has become more and more popular in recent years. C&C stands for Cubes and Coroplast - the two major components used to design and construct these types of cages.

In reality the word cubes does not accurately describe the construction material being used. In actuality, steel wire grids are used to construct the cage walls. They are referred to as cubes, simply because these grids are traditionally used to build storage cube systems. The steel wire grids are simply a building component in the storage cube system - just as they are a component in your C&C cage.

Dog Ownership - Bathing And Hygiene Tips

November 1st, 2009 · No Comments

If this is your first dog or have questions or problems grooming your dog, this article may help you through the problem or give you tips to make things a little easier. One of the things that we all must do for our dog, big or small is routine bathing. Many choose to leave it to the professional groomers but for those that go it alone or even enjoy the bonding time, these tips may make it easier. Remember, bathing your dog too often is bad for their skin and can strip them of their natural oils that keep their coat healthy, shiny, and prevent dry skin. It's best to be prepared before bath time by having towels or chamois, shampoo (for dogs only), and brush set up for easy reach. Outdoor bathing is a good idea for large dogs on a hot day, otherwise the shower works best. A removable shower head makes bathing a dog the absolute most convenient. If you don't have a shower or one big enough for your dog, the bath works with a non-skid mat or towel for traction. This will make them feel more secure and prevent injuries if they get scared or excited. We suggest using a wash cloth for washing the face & ears. Sometimes otherwise calm dogs freak out when water is poured over their head or face. Use only shampoo made for dogs and if your dog has skin problems, do the research to get a specific shampoo for their needs, such as gentle oatmeal. Long haired dogs may require conditioner. Make sure to rinse all products well, as any left behind may cause itching and irritation. It may take more than one towel to get your dog dry and drying on a blanket may lessen the mess. Some dogs require a blow-dry and brush-out. We suggest starting right away with puppies to get used to this process and loud sound of the dryer. It is very important to brush your dog after drying no matter what length hair that they have. It will get off most of the excess hair and prevent a lot of shedding in your home. It will also prevent matting in long hair, keep the coat cleaner, and add sheen. Most dogs enjoy the brushing, close contact, and attention.

Black Pearl Liveaboard Holiday Review

Choosing the Black Pearl Liveaboard

Having already been scuba diving in the Maldives, my friends knew that the best way to explore as many dive sites as possible in our 2-week holiday was to go on a liveaboard holiday. It is also the cheapest way to see the Maldives, considering the prices of these amazing resorts. The nice ones can run at way over USD 500 each night! The last time my friends visited, they booked through a company called Maldives Dive Travel and had been really happy with the trip, so we decided to go with them again. Looking at the Maldives Dive Travel site and other similar sites, I noticed that Maldives Dive Travel has the best selection of liveaboard boats and the site is really user-friendly. You can see loads of photos of the boats and all the information you really need. The Black Pearl is one of the cheaper boats that they offer, which is a big part of why we chose it. All we really care about is the scuba diving and having a lot of fun in a group, so the Black Pearl was perfect for us.

It is quiet funny to actually look at people as in what all they are doing to build up their own MLM business. The network marketing idea is still warm in market and has its position in it.

The concept of marketing attractively is pretty simple. Just imagine that you are fishing, there you will bait a hook along with the worm or else with something that the fish like to have. You will cast the worm in the place where you will think the fishes are more and you will wait till the bite. It is the same way where you will advertise online to reach the targeted audience and offering tem something they want it for free. They will surely come upto you.

a morning visit to the dentist, for me the patient…

Following the dentist visit, I'm pleasantly surprised it wasn't as scary as anticipated, didn't take long, and was actually painless. I was given some pain medication and should be just fine. The cellular rings on the way home, it's the wife but I can't talk right now, the mouths full of cotton; But I can hear. She says, “Are you all right?” My reply, “Mumbles, mutter, mumbles.” She's laughing… “You going to call me later?”… “Mumbles, mutter, mumbles.” She's laughing at me again. I'm thinking I'll skip breakfast and maybe just go home and take a power nap…

When to Start Training Cats and Dogs

September 3rd, 2009 · No Comments

Training cats and dogs to use the litter box or to scratch at the door is simple if you start early. Usually the earlier the pet, the faster they will learn as long as they are weaned from their mother. The best performing dogs and cats have been started early and constantly praised for their efforts. Animals vary in personality so do not fear if the dog or cat doesn't learn right away. Be patient and loving with your animal. If the pet does not learn after many weeks of training, something could be wrong. It might be a behavioral or medical problem. Check with your animal's vet if you become concerned.
